A response is one row in your survey export that contains at least one non-empty open-ended text field. If a respondent completes all scale items but leaves the open-ended comment blank, that row does not count toward your monthly volume. Scale-only responses are not processed and do not count against your plan.
Yes. Both Starter and Growth include a trial period before you enter payment details. You can upload a real survey export and see clustered, weighted output on your actual data. The trial runs full clustering and weighting on a capped response set, so you evaluate quality on your own organization's text, not a generic demo.
During setup you map the metadata columns in your survey export to weighting dimensions: role band, department, tenure range, or any custom categorical field your organization tracks. AskHumans uses those mappings to calculate which respondent groups cluster most densely around each theme. You can adjust the dimension configuration between survey cycles without re-uploading previous data.
Yes. Annual billing is available on both Starter and Growth plans. The toggle above shows both monthly and annual pricing; annual billing reduces the effective monthly rate by approximately 17%. Annual plans are billed in full at the start of each annual period and are not refundable for unused months.
AskHumans accepts survey data in two ways: CSV upload and REST API. The CSV upload path works with any platform that can export to CSV, including Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Culture Amp, Lattice, and custom internal survey tools. The REST API is available on the Growth plan and above for teams that want to automate delivery directly from their survey platform without manual export steps. Custom integrations are available on Enterprise.
